Bomo Games is operated by PangolinWorks. This page explains the information used by our game portal.

Playing and accounts

Playing creates a guest identity so the portal can remember your recent games and votes. Signing in connects an account to your player identity. Account information can include your email address, display name, and sign-in details.

Cookies and browser storage

We use cookies for player sessions and sign-in. Games may store progress on your device, and the portal stores your appearance preference. Clearing browser storage can remove guest access and locally saved progress.

Saved progress and shared features

Games that use Bomo cloud saves can send game progress to our servers, linked to your player identity and the game. They may also keep a local copy. Clearing browser storage does not delete server-side saves, and losing a guest session can prevent you from accessing them.

If you choose to submit a score, that game's leaderboard can show your best score, display name, and public player ID. Games can also offer emoji reactions: sending one shares the reaction, your display name, player ID, and its time with other players in that game. Recent reactions are displayed for up to an hour; a limited stored history remains until newer reactions replace it. This feature does not accept free-text messages.

Game activity

We collect gameplay and technical events to understand game performance, improve recommendations, and diagnose problems. These can include game starts, session duration, device and browser information, referral information, and advertising events. Our hosting services also process connection information when delivering the website.

Service providers and games

The portal uses Cloudflare and Hetzner for delivery and hosting. Individual games and advertising services may process information under their own privacy policies. Check the information provided by the game or advertising service when it is offered.
